ÖZTÜRKLER İSSUES INTERNATİONAL CHİLDREN’S DAY MESSAGE

Speaker of the Assembly Ziya Öztürkler issued a message on the occasion of June 1st, International Children’s Day.

Stressing that children were the most precious treasure of society and the guarantee of the future, Öztürkler stated that they would continue to work decisively to protect children’s rights and secure their future.

Stressing that the Assembly was committed to continuing its efforts to protect children’s rights and secure their future, Öztürkler stated that children were society’s most precious treasure and the guarantee of the future.

He also reminded that it was everyone’s shared responsibility to ensure that children grow up in a healthy, happy, and safe environment.

“We place great importance on developing laws and policies to protect children’s rights, ensuring equal opportunities, and creating an environment where our children can build a stronger future. We are ready to fulfil all our duties to increase the opportunities available to children in all areas of life, to help them discover their individual talents, and to assist them in becoming individuals who contribute to society” Öztürkler said.

He further noted that children were their greatest strength.

Pointing out that the future of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) would be shaped by the value and support given to children today, the Parliamentary Speaker stressed that they were aware of their responsibility to protect children’s rights and provide them with a fair, equal, and hopeful life.

“It is our duty to be their voice, to secure their future, and to ensure that every child experiences a happy childhood. On this meaningful day, with the hope of increasing the smiles on all our children’s faces, supporting their dreams, and joining hands for a brighter tomorrow, I wish a Happy World Children’s Day on June 1st. As the TRNC, we will continue to protect our children’s rights and offer them the best future” Öztürkler concluded.
