DUAL CARRİAGEWAY PROJECT AİMS TO EASE REGİONAL TRAFFİC FLOW

The expansion of Manisa Boulevard, which links the Lefkoşa–Güzelyurt Highway to the Güzelyurt–Lefke Dual Carriageway, officially begins today.

The road, which has long been a point of concern for residents in Güzelyurt due to its partially dual-lane layout, will now be upgraded to a fully dual carriageway — featuring two lanes in each direction.

The project, overseen by the Highways Department, is expected to improve traffic flow significantly once completed. Construction work officially begins today.

Authorities have urged drivers to obey all traffic signs and directions during the construction period. The works are expected to be completed in a short timeframe, bringing long-awaited relief to the region’s traffic congestion.
